A Tesla Model 3 owner in Travis County, Texas, Ben Gawiser, won a $10,672.88 default judgment in small claims court against Tesla over undelivered Full Self-Driving software he purchased for $10,000 in August 2021. After Tesla missed response deadlines and lost a rehearing motion on May 13, the company paid out roughly $10,800 covering the judgment plus interest.
